Generation5 was one of the Internet's first AI portals, first launched on 1st September, 1998. Just over a year later, on Christmas Eve 1999, Generation5 moved to it's own domain name (http://www.generation5.org/) where it enjoyed increased traffic and net-wide recognition.Now, Generation5 has been modernized and programmed to support the original community-orientated vision.
Site Compatibility
Generation5 has been tested with the latest main browsers: Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, Netscape 6.2 and Opera 6.0. No browser-specific HTML is used, JavaScript is only used when absolutely necessary, but heavy use is made of cascading stylesheets since they greatly aid compatibility, development speed and overall presentation. This site is designed to be viewed at 1024x768 or greater, although we took care to ensure that all the main content will be viewable without scrolling at 800x600.
